MET Encourages Parking Attendants To Earn NVQ - February 2010
MET is encouraging all its Parking Attendants to earn National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ’s). These are work related awards that reflect a person’s skill, knowledge and competence in a specific area. MET’s goal is to have the entire enforcement team qualified by the end of the year. An ambitious goal, but the response so far has been very encouraging and a big boost to morale.
MET Introduces Designer Signage - November 2009
One of the challenges in running an effective car park is clearly communicating the Terms and Conditions of Use of the car park to its patrons. With this in mind, MET took the radical approach of enlisting the talents of a local design firm to redesign all of MET’s signage. Through the use of colour, contrast and varied type, the designers have created an eye catching new design that better communicates the rules governing the use of a private car park. MET firmly believes in the value of clear and accurate communication as it is clear that parking patrons who understand the rules are much more likely to abide by them.
